Death and Decay AoE UI

Can the developers look into an easier way to drop DnD at your feet with just 1 click?

For some situations, its not ideal to drop it at your feet, so can there be a toggle in the UI for instant drop or aiming reticule modes? Obviously this could also be helpful for other AoE spells for other classes.
no. dks have to place dnd. you want a floor aoe that you dont have to choose the placement of go roll a paladin and consecrate to your hearts content. unless you are litereally clicking your buttons your mouse should be free to place dnd when you have it on a keybind.
Yup what the guy above me said; I just have DnD bound to "Shift + Spacebar" and it works great. Give it a shot.

I have DnD keybound, as with all my stuff. I dislike the need to click the mouse button after the key press. Perhaps a double tap of the key would just drop it straight down would be nice. Or a setting to make it auto-drop like the other poster recommended for paladin. It would just make life a little simpler with my play style. Not every player uses a mouse in combat.

what they need to do is remove the global cooldown.

Just takes practice.

My main "problem" with it, even though it's hardly a problem, is that it takes a split second for it to HIT the ground once I cast it, and in that split second a stupid Rogue can avoid it.

Other than that, just bind it and commit it to muscle memory.

Im just asking the developers (if they even check these things) to give us an option besides a mandatory mouse click. This really is all this thread is about. I appreciate all your input here, it is in my muscle memory and it works. I can just see a different (perhaps better) way of doing DnD and other AoE spells as well.

what the hell is the difference then? eiether way you are pressing 2 seperate buttons to accomplish the same goal.
press button to make dnd stationary drop then drop dnd. or press keybind for dnd and click to drop.
