AMS Glitch?

[:1]Hey there DK forums!

I was just messing around in blood spec in a BG on my DK and noticed that AMS didn't absorb Earthbind totems pulses or root (while elemental specced) or Thunderstorm. Does anyone know if this a known bug or just working as attended? I hated getting kited to death by a shaman -.-

Ams makes you immune to the above. Now, if you ams after a tick of earthbind you'll be slowed until that tick falls off - its not like cloak, it wont remove any existing magic effects.
i just amsed and got thunderstormed.

Thunderstorm is a KB... it's not a debuff.
AMS blocks the damage of thunderstorm, but not the knockback. as for the earthbind, it should make him immune unless it was already on him and then he ams'd.
